The process used by the BRE-AUT durometer allows rapid control, by measuring the depth of the impression, expressed in Brinell by the electronic interface.
It is the ideal machine for serial control.
The impression can also be measured using a microscope or our Brinell Image Analysis Fingerprint Measurement System.
The function of the BRE-AUT test head is to apply the load via a cylinder. For more precision, the applied load is continuously visualized on the dial located
in the middle of the head.
The load cell with elastic deformation is integrated into the head.
To ensure perfect safety, the unique system, patented by ERNST, allows the stop of the cycle of application of the load and the removal of the head, as soon as it is in contact with a soft material, such as the operator’s hands.
